Hi everyone
Microsoft have brought out a piece of softwear called autocollage which allows you to make collages out of photos, like the one below. I was wondering if anyone knew how to achive a similar effect with photos using GIMP?

| PSDs turning into a bright mess! |

I know the topic title is ridiculous but I couldn't really think of another way to phrase it, lol.
When ever I save a PSD in gimp now and try to open it up later it turns into this:

I've re-downloaded and everything and I have no idea why it's doing this except for the fact that it won't save subtract/burn layers. but that hasn't been a problem before. Does anyone have any idea what I should do?

manga coloring tutorial
Made in GIMP 2.0, possibly translatable
Time: About 20 minutes to half an hour.
Difficulty: Requires basic knowledge of GIMP but not much else.
